Tyres in the yard of Tyre Plus on the corner of Great Eastern Highway and Fauntleroy Ave, Ascot - adjacent to the Perth Domestic airport caught fire on the afternoon of 27 Dec 2010. The cause is unknown. Firefighters worked throughout the afternoon to bring the fire under control and extinguish the smouldering fire within the remaining tyres. Firefighters from Perth airport assisted WA Fire & Rescue crews.
