In the evening peak hour a Tarago Van caught fire in the Westbound lanes of Parramatta Rd at Annandale, with the Westbound lanes closed while firefighters extinguished the fire. Despite dealing with the incident quickly, traffic was backed up for some kilometres back toward the city before the road was cleared.
